4 Step Slow Cooker BBQ Meaty Ribs

Posted by Lucy on 11th February 2018 in Pork | bbq ribs, recipe, budget meal
This is one of my new favourite go-to recipes -- it goes down very well at parties and with guests, and best of all: it's so easy to make! People will think you spent hours making the perfect BBQ ribs, when in reality you sat back and put your feet up (unless you have a small child like me!).   So here's a quick guide to how I make my "famous" BBQ ribs in four easy steps:   Step 1: Chop onions and garlic, place ribs in slow cooker and cover with a whole bottle of BBQ sauce.   Step 2: Add a little water to the BBQ sauce bottle (about half), swish around and pour out over the ribs.   Step 3: Cook on HIGH for 4 - 6 hours (or LOW for 6 - 8 hours)....

Baby friendly peanut butter oat bites - no bake!

Posted by Lucy on 26th September 2018 in Baby Led Weaning |
Hi guys! Sorry it's late this week, been pretty hectic here, so here's a quick and easy, no-bake recipe for you and/or your babies! I used this when we did baby-led weaning with Amelia and she loved it because it's so easy to eat with her hands, and you can whip it up in about 10 minutes. Just leave it to set in the fridge for an hour and you're good to go :) This recipe was inspired by something I saw on Pinterest, and I just mix it up a bit with different things like pears, apples or raisins etc. See the original here: https://mykidslickthebowl.com/apple-oat-no-bake-bites/ Let me know what you think and if you try it!...
